Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and mothers-to-be out there!! Here's a picture of our two babies. Dora, rat terrier chihuahua, is the white and black one. Gipsi, chihuahua, is the fawn colored one.

This weekend we headed down to La Crosse. We stopped off on Friday to camp out in the Green Machine (our '79 VW bus). Saturday morning we fished the Rush River for a bit and then headed towards La Crosse. On the way, we stopped and had breakfast at an awesome cafe in Stockholm...Bogus Cafe I think it was called. Super good! They had a fabulous bakery and nice shops downtown. Definitely a fun little town.

Saturday afternoon, I had Allie's (Josh) bridal shower. We also finally got to meet our nephew - so exciting! He was born in October and lives in Virginia. We were feeling so guilty because he is already 7 months and we've never even met him. We had a blast with him - he is such a good baby! We made breakfast for my mother-in-law, and after an early afternoon snooze - love daytime naps! - we went for a run and took our dogs for a walk before the 3 hour drive home.
