dossier, dossier, dossier...
Our dossier has been at the courier for a month waiting for the Kyrygyz Embassy to open up. Just found out earlier this week that we need 7 additional documents for our dossier, which should cost another $900. Unfortunately, one of these documents is FBI clearance and this can take up to 8 weeks! the good news is that this does not affect our place in line and shouldn't affect us getting a referral. It just felt so nice to be done with the paperwork and start to work on fundraising and saving the additional $25,000 needed to bring our son home!

Jes - don't stress about the FBI Clearance! Ours took less than 2 weeks start to finish. Be sure to label your envelope as "International Adoption - please expedite" and also include an overnight FedEx envelope so they can overnight it back to you. Good luck!!
Ugghh. It seems like it's always "one more thing". But I do know that the FBI clearance goes very quick. Good luck with gathering the new documents.
